Staten Island Zoo Reopening
OPEN – Reservations are required for both members and non-members. Members must present their member card and a photo ID at the entrance gate.
INDOOR & OUTDOOR EXHIBITS NOW OPEN
WHEN YOU VISIT
Expect to see the following guidelines and procedures in place for your visit.
We’ve zoned additional staff, with enhanced equipment, to clean and disinfect Zoo grounds, consistently and often.
To limit gatherings and foot traffic throughout the Zoo, we’ve closed our Broadway entrance gate. Zoo admittance is limited to ONLY the Clove Rd. entrance (across from the Zoo parking lot on the corner of Martling Ave and Clove Rd.)
Admission tickets must be purchased in advance. Designated timed tickets are available for purchase.
Current Zoo members whose membership have expired between the months of March and July will be granted a membership extension for time lapsed upon membership renewal. Admission for members must be reserved in advance of your visit.
We’ve upgraded our ticketing terminals to allow for contactless entry. Tickets must be purchased in advance.
FACE COVERINGS REQUIRED
In accordance with current NY State policy, the Governor’s Executive Orders, and CDC recommendations, we require all visitors age 3 and up to be wearing a mask or face covering. Our staff are also required to wear masks.
For your safety, additional sanitizing stations have been installed throughout the Zoo.
We ask that guests maintain proper social distancing measures that give each other, our staff, and our animals adequate space.
Our Zoo Café has closed indoor dining and seating and have setup ordering and pickup windows.
CAROUSEL & KIDS KORRAL
Our Carousel and Kids Korral will be temporarily closed.
REFUNDS & CANCELLATIONS
All ticket sales are final. There are no refunds, cancellations or rescheduling options. Due to capacity restrictions, we must adhere to the ticketing policies which were stated prior to purchase. This includes the terms and conditions and acknowledgement that all sales are final. There are no revisions for credit, refunds, rescheduling, exchanges, or cancellations. If you purchased general admission tickets, and cannot make your scheduled time, we recommend sharing your tickets with a friend of family member to use. Tickets are transferable.
Expect Some Change
We are 100% committed to providing a safe, rewarding and fun experience for our Zoo patrons. Animal exhibits, park operations, and Zoo grounds may experience some change as we navigate local, state and federal guidelines. When possible, advance notice will be provided. While some changes may be visible, we’ve worked hard to maintain the same familiarity and charm associated with the Staten Island Zoo, NYC’s biggest little zoo. We look forward to your visit!
